“We live in a rainbow of chaos.”

~ Paul Cézanne

Most people see chaos as this swirling, uncontrollable,
incomprehensible, maddening, distressing, very bad thing.

To be fair chaos is, at the very least, uncomfortable and unnerving.

Yet it is also inevitable.

A large amount of anxiety often comes with chaos.
It can absolutely be crippling.

But what is anxiety, really?

Anxiety is energy.

…and energy is full of potential.

Sometimes when we have an overabundance of this anxious energy it might be something that we need to address with therapy and/or medication.

There is ZERO shame in asking for that help,
and it’s important we get that help when we need it!

It is imperative to understand that we have it within ourselves to do something that will
improve our well-being and bring a calm objective perspective to our day-to-day lives.

This is where mindfulness comes in!

Studies have shown that mindfulness can help assist in managing:

STRESS

ANXIETY

and DEPRESSION

It has also been shown that people who engage in mindfulness practices consistently
are more self aware, able to increase their ability to focus, and have a heightened sense of kindness and compassion towards others.

The fact is that mindfulness,
no matter how infrequently
or imperfectly you might practice it,
can make
all the difference.

Bearly Zen is not just a mindfulness coaching practice, it is a posture towards life.

It is recognizing that we are imperfect people just trying to get a little better every day.
I hope you decide to take this journey with me, it would be my honor.

“I believe that mindfulness is both accepting the chaos as it is and realizing that we can find order in it as well. We have the power to reframe our current experience when we can recognize and appreciate our place in the ever evolving *upward spiral of mindful living.”

The Spiral of Mindful Living

  • Intention

At its core, mindfulness is the energy of intentional awareness.

  • Meditation

Meditation is the energy of focus that we apply to our intention.

  • Cultivation

The creative energy that emanates from our focus.

  • Appreciation

The energy of gratitude towards the present moment.

*The upwards spiral of mindful living informs the way we may approach mindfulness in both professional and personal settings. When we recognize where we are at within each of the phases at any given time, we encounter opportunities to be fully present and engage our capacity to create new thoughts, behaviors, attitudes, and actions.

  • Mindfulness is a pause – the space between stimulus and response: that’s where the choice lies.

  • Our anxiety does not come from thinking about the future, but from wanting to control it.

    Kahlil Gibran

  • This is a wonderful day. I have never seen this one before.
